Welcome to Sandwich Bowls & Social Club

The Sandwich Bowls Club was formed in 1909 and has achieved so much over the years, from small beginnings at the first bowling green on the Bulwarks to its current location in Millwall Place in 1928. It is a marvellous club which is well admired and renowned throughout the county as one of the best clubs in Kent. It also has a thriving social club, which is used by many people in the local community.

Sandwich Bowls Club has produced many excellent players over the years, who have gone on to win major titles, both in the county and nationally.

The Club participates in mens, ladies and mixed friendly matches. The men and ladies both compete in the Dover League, County Competitions, and various Cup Competitions throughout the season.

There is also a thriving Social Club with a welcoming bar & juke box, 2 full size snooker tables and a darts board, which is used regularly for club events and private functions.

The Club are always looking for new members, so if you fancy a try at bowls, snooker or just to become a social member why not just pop along to the ground at Millwall Place and you will be most welcome or look out for our regular Open Days.
